The concept of Goldnode is simple. Setting up a Masternode is expensive and requires a lot of knowledge - so we offer a simple and intuitive platform to spread the costs and effectively lower the entry point, by introducing seats that resemble a share in a Masternode.

IMO

At Goldnode we have Initial Masternode Offerings (IMO). IMO's enable you to participate in a Masternode. If an IMO has reached its cap a Masternode will be setup by the Goldnode team and the Masternode and your ROI will be visible in your Dashboard.

Rewards

Masternodes are incentivized for their work on the blockchain, this means they will get rewarded. Consider it like earning a monthly interest in crypto holdings.

Security

Goldnode takes security very seriously. Only one of the team members has access to our keys and they are stored in an encrypted database using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known.

We never ask for your private key ever. All transactions occur on a totally separate system outside of Goldnode.io Web Platform.

Fees

There are no recurring fees.

The seats we take in the masternode are compensated in the price we display on Goldnode meaning that you pay a bit more per seat as a one-time fee.

Withdraw

When your ETH are transferred to participate in an IMO, your ETH will be locked during the runtime of the IMO. When the IMO is completed your ETH will be used to pay for the various aspects of setting up a masternode. When the masternode is running your seats will represent a license and your share in the masternode.

In order to withdraw your ETH we have two options:

We did like to direct you to our roadmap in which we mention the development of a marketplace. The marketplace enables you to sell your seats to other users of Goldnode. You define the price for your seats. So whenever you decide to leave the masternode, this is a convenient way to do so. While this is being developed for the Goldnode platform we have started two groups in Telegram (https://t.me/joinchat/DLsm-lAYPJYhZ2KvAkw6Tw) and Discord (https://discord.gg/FkBDy5) where you can sell/buy seats. The voting system. Whenever more than 51% of the community decides to dismantle the masternode. The process to dismantle the masternode will be initiated and all users will get their ETH back based on their number of seats in the masternode (the coins of the masternode will be exchanged to ETH).

Why KYC process?

The purpose of KYC is mainly to ensure that unqualified people trying to involve in illegal money laundering activities can be stopped. Goldnode services are strictly forbidden to be used to convert money obtained under illegal money into legitimate assets.

Weekly Rewards

After Masternode is up and running rewards start to come in. Each week (fridays) we will transfer all the native rewards (please read about payouts) and distribute them to seat holders. You can follow your rewards in your dashboard (it updates every hour).

What happens when we don’t gather the funds in time?

We either extend the time or dismantle the IMO. Dismantling means we pay every participant back their initial transfer of ETH (minus ETH network fee).

Risks

Masternodes require, as well as contributing mining power, a thorough investigation regarding many aspects to make the coin or platform worthwhile.

This means the risks are the same as with current day mining which are:

Devaluation of the coin. In other words, the value of the coin goes down in which it doesn't return as much to make up for the costs at that moment. Devaluation of the coin can come from many factors:
1. Issues on the platform.
2. Sentiment
3. External factors.
Technical issues that could cause malfunctioning of the masternode. Obviously, we try to avoid this occurrence as much as possible but this risk means that the masternode is not available in the network and thus not capable of receiving rewards.
The IMO doesn't reach its goal within its time limit. Whenever this occurs the IMO will either be dismantled and everybody will get their ETH back (minus ETH network fee) or we decide, with the community, to add more time to the IMO.

The concept of Goldnode.io is pretty straightforward but we are very ambitious about this project. We have loads of ideas for further developing our platform.
